Spider Web Counting Activity

spider web counting activity

Let’s get spooky and count some spiders! This spider web counting game is a wonderful way to strengthen number sense. By placing a numbered group of spiders on its corresponding web, children demonstrate number quantity knowledge โ€“ the understanding that the written number โ€œ5โ€ means five objects. Furthermore, this activity helps to develop counting, one-to-one correspondence, and number recognition skills.

So collect some creepy crawlers and download our free numbered spider webs! For heavy use, I recommend printing on card stock and lamination.
